Steve Zimic Photography on Exhibit at Library

February’s gallery exhibit at the Garden City Public Library will highlight the talents of photographer Steve Zimic. Take a look at outstanding images captured by a digital infrared camera as well as standard color film.

Steve Zimic has been photographing on Long Island for more than 30 years. He is a member and officer of the Nassau County Camera Club and works part-time at Neptune Camera in Garden City. His images have been displayed in several shows and have received numerous awards from the Photographic Federation of Long Island. Steve’s latest passion is photography with a specially modified camera that captures only infrared light. These images have a somewhat dreamy aura to them and are rendered with a brown (sepia) tone.

Exhibits are free and open to the public during regular library hours.
