Art League of Nassau County Summer Art Show at Barnes Gallery
The ALNC Show will continue at Barnes until August 27th, 2016.
The Art League of Nassau County's second annual Summer Membership Art Show at the Barnes Gallery had their opening reception on Saturday, July 9th. Many of the 51 artists attended the reception and were available to talk about their work to interested gallery-goers.
Seven Garden City artists who are showing their work are: Suzie Alvey, Harriet Carotenuto, Adrienne Cosgrove, Phil Costa, Jane McGraw, Linda Outcault and Marianne Reamer.
Suzanne McVetty, president of the Art League of Nassau County thanked everyone who helped put the show together, especially Greg Schnoor, owner of Barnes Gallery and his assistant, Herbert Molina. Suzie Alvey, show coordinator and ALNC photographer took a quick poll of the artists there to see how many years they have been artists. The answer was well over a total of 1,000 years! Their work proves it.
