Beer Expo Returns To Nassau Coliseum In November

More than 100 local and national breweries will have beers available for sampling.

The Long Island Great Beer Expo is returning to the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum this year. It's set to take place on Veterans Day, Saturday, Nov. 11, and will showcase more than 60 local, national and international breweries, offering more than 100 beers for sampling.

The Great Beer Expo will have two sessions: 12:30 to 4 p.m. and 5:30 to 9 p.m. General Admission tickets are $45 in advance and $55 at the door. The general admission ticket gives attendees access to more than 100 different beers plus admission to educational and entertaining beer-focused seminars.

Tickets can be purchased online at Ticketmaster.com, nycblive.com, or by calling 1-800-745-3000. Tickets can also be purchased at the Ticketmaster Box Office located at the Coliseum.

This year’s event charity is Project 9 Line, a local charity with a mission to empower veterans with reintegration through the arts and activity. A portion of the event proceeds will directly benefit Project 9 Line.

General Admission tickets include admission to the expo, a souvenir tasting cup and the freedom to enjoy a 2 oz. sample of any of the beers present at the Expo. Food is available for purchase. Designated driver tickets are also available for $12 each. No one under 21, including designated drivers, will be admitted and photo ID is required for entry. All ticket sales are final.
