Bicyclist Seriously Hurt Colliding With Car In Nassau: Police

The accident happened Monday afternoon in East Garden City, police said.

EAST GARDEN CITY, NY — A bicyclist was badly hurt in a collision with a car in East Garden City, police said. The Monday afternoon accident happened as the 2018 Toyota Tundra with a 42-year-old male exited a parking lot near Commercial Avenue, police said.

While turning south onto Quentin Roosevelt Boulevard he collided with a 56-year-old male bicyclist, police said.

The bicyclist was transported to a nearby hospital with serious injuries, police said.

The Toyota driver remained at the scene. No one else was injured, police said.
