Find out how to get tickets.

Long Island musical legend Billy Joel will perform the first concert at the renovated Nassau Coliseum when it opens next spring.

Joel played the final show at the venue last summer before it closed for renovations. The show at the new Coliseum will be Joel's 33rd at the venue, including a record-setting nine sold out shows in 1998.

“There’s no better performer suited to reopen the transformed Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum than Long Island’s own, Billy Joel,” said Nassau County Executive Edward P. Mangano in a statement. “Billy serves as an exciting reminder of entertainment our residents will enjoy at the Coliseum for generations to come.”
