Long Island Swim School is the teaching arm of the nationally ranked Long Island Aquatic Club. Our Learn to Swim programs create strong, safe, and confident swimmers for life. With locations in Garden City and Syosset we train over 2,000 children each week at every swim level from Beginner to Olympian. Long Island Swim School offers swim lessons for children ages 2 - 14years old. GARDEN CITY, NY — Two men stole a car in Garden City during the overnight hours on Sunday, authorities said. A 50-year-old man parked his 2019 black Honda Civic in front of a home on Brook Street. The men approached with a knife and a gun, demanding that the driver exit the vehicle, police said. They took off in the car and fled southbound on Brook Street. There were no injuries reported. Police ask anyone who can provide information to call Garden City detectives at 516-465-4150.
