Nassau Store Worker Steals, Sells $25K Worth Of Items: Police

CARLE PLACE, NY — A part-time worker at Pure Hockey in Carle Place was arrested for stealing and selling sporting goods items without his employer's permission, police said.

James Kelly, of North New Hyde Park, was charged with third-degree grand larceny, authorities said.

The Glen Cove Road store had a total loss of more than $25,000, police said.

Kelly, who was arrested without incident, was scheduled for arraignment on Tuesday.
