Couple Sought For Shoplifting At Macy's In Roosevelt Field: Police

EAST GARDEN CITY, NY — Two people are sought in connection to a Roosevelt Field robbery. The man and woman entered the Macy's just before 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

They picked out items and concealed them before exiting the store, police said.

Two loss prevention officers approached them and a struggle ensued. The woman became combative, pushing and kicking the security officer, authorities said.

They fled to the blue parking garage.

An investigation revealed they were also involved in a "dine and dash" incident at Maggiano's Little Italy restaurant in Garden City, police said.
