Cupid Coming To Hempstead Town For Valentine's Day
The town will be officiating ceremonies for couples looking to wed, or those who want to renew their vows.
The Town of Hempstead is giving couples, both those who've only recently proposed and those who've been together for years, to share their love at Hemsptead Town Hall on Valentine's Day. The town will be officiating marriage ceremonies and vow renewals at the historic courthouse all day.
The ceremonies, officiated by Hempstead Town Supervisor Don Clavin, Town Clerk Kate Murray and marriage officers from the Town Clerk’s office, will take place throughout the day on Friday, Feb. 14 in the historic old courtroom at Town Hall.
“Marriage is such a beautiful expression of love between two people who pledge, through both good and bad times, to stand by each other,” Clavin said. “I invite all couples considering entering into this special bond, or those looking to reaffirm the love they currently share by renewing their vows, to join us at Hempstead Town Hall this Valentine’s Day.”
