The Garden City Bombers 9U baseball team hosts the Merrick National in the National Junior Baseball nine inning game at Tullamore Park. If the Bombers win, they clinch first place in the summer baseball season standings, and home field advantage for the playoffs that start the week of August 8.
The Bombers are made up of half kids from Garden City, and half from surronding neigborhoods including Roosevelt and Hempstead.
This games was originally scheduled for an earlier date, but moved to Thursday August 4th as the make-up.
