Halloween Fest is back for the 5th time! Saturday Oct. 15, from 2 to 5 pm, come to the Tanners Pond Environmental Center/Garden City Bird Sanctuary site for a fun filled afternoon of games, arts, crafts, oodles of prizes and the fabulous Halloween Parade! Face painting, mummy wrapping, potato sack races, and recycling relays! The cost per participant is $10 with a $2 discount for advance purchase ticket sales, scouts and religious groups. (Tickets are sold separately for the Haunted Hikes.) Join the fun and help support Long Island’s award winning unique nature center created from a Nassau County “sump”. Help make sump-thing happen.
