The Kids In Deed Summer Program encourages children to express their natural concern for others through classroom-based service projects. Lessons on respect, empathy, and friendship will include service projects for Long Island-based human service agencies such as the INN. Kids In Deed has a nonsectarian, humanist orientation to community service.
Aug. 20 - 24, 9:00 to 11:30 a.m.
For children ages 6 to 12. Cost is $150 for the week, which includes project materials and a light snack. 10% discount for siblings.
