Long lsland sports fans looking to take their seat behind the mic at New York’s top-rated Sports Radio 66 WFAN, are invited to participate in the Third Annual Fantasy Phenom Challenge, which will take place on Saturday, July 21, at Simon’s Roosevelt Field. The competition begins at 10 a.m. in the Macy’s Court.
Up to 100 people will have the chance to audition before a panel of judges for a chance to host an on-air shift on WFAN. And this year’s competition has an added twist: Contestants will be able to compete either as a solo act or team up with a partner. In addition, event sponsor STS Tire & Auto Center will give one WFAN listener the chance to win the first spot in line!
Judges’ picks will move to the second round, where the final five will be selected. The grand finale event will be held in August, where one lucky person will be offered an on-air shift on Sports Radio 66. Last year’s winner, John Jastremski, remains with the station broadcasting his show to tri-state area listeners.

In addition to Roosevelt Field, the Fantasy Phenom Challenge will be held at two other Simon Property Group malls in New Jersey during July: Thursday, July 12, at Livingston Mall in Livingston, NJ, and Thursday, July 19, at Menlo Park Mall in Edison, NJ.
