Scenic Photos of L.I. Exhibited at Garden City Public Library

Scenic Photos of Long Island will be exhibited in the Garden City Public Library’s showcases during July 1–28, 2011. Enjoy eye-catching 5” x 7” color & sepia photos of florals, animals, landscapes and Old Long Island by talented photographer Gerry Corrigan.

A life-long resident of Long Island, Gerry Corrigan developed a love for the natural and historic treasures "Paumanok" has to offer, and set about preserving in photographic images as many of these beautiful tableaus as he could. This is an ongoing labor of love for Gerry, who continues to mine the rich vein of striking images Long Island has to offer.

Gerry's photographs are a combination of both film and digital photography: his photography started long before digital imaging technology came upon the scene. Currently, he uses both film and digital cameras, and works in both color and sepia. Gerry invites you to share with him his vision of our extraordinary Island home.
