The Garden City Men's Association will be holding their annual NCAA Basketball Final Game party at B.K. Sweeney's Uptown Grille on Monday, April 2nd. The evening starts at 8:30 p.m. with game time scheduled for approximately 9:15 p.m. The cost is $50 per person which can be paid at the door. This covers an open bar and pass around appetizers. In addition there will be box pools and a silent auction featuring sports memorabilia, foursomes of golf, sports tickets and several other items. All after cost monies raised will go to TMA, a not-for-profit organization in which all proceeds are donated back into the many athletic, academic and club programs in Garden City High School and Middle School. For over 70 years, The Men's Association of the Garden City High School has supported the athletic and social activities of students in the Garden City schools and promoted good sportsmanship and good citizenship. With the generous support of our fellow residents, The Men's Association has been involved in a great number of projects, covering a wide range of interests, over the past several years. While we are still primarily involved with the athletic programs at the Middle School and High School, in recent years we have expanded our support and sponsorship to other programs benefiting a wider range of students in the Garden City Schools. Some of those programs are SEPTA, the Jamie and Paige Malone Foundation, the GC High School Marching Band and the Father-Daughter and Mother- Son dances. That participation is not possible without the continued support of our fellow residents and we are grateful for your contributions.
