CARLE PLACE, NY — The Federal Aviation Administration is moving its administrative headquarters to Nassau County. The FAA will move into a 75,000-square-foot office space at 1 Old Country Rd. in Carle Place, commercial realtor CBRE announced.

The FAA will lease part of two floors in the building as they relocate from Jamaica, NY.

"We were tasked with finding new space for one of the region’s most important federal agencies with a strict mandate to reduce costs while also remaining in close proximity to JFK and LaGuardia airports, CBRE's Vincent LaManna said. "This was a high priority for our team, made more challenging by the fact that there is a lack of quality office space in and around the airports."
