A fire in Hempstead Wednesday night displaced more than a dozen residents after their home was gutted by the flames.The large corner property on Linden Avenue caught fire Wednesday night. A fire in Hempstead Wednesday night displaced more than a dozen residents after their home was gutted by the flames.

The large corner property on Linden Avenue caught fire Wednesday night. Firefighters responded and were able to get the blaze under control, but 14 residents were displaced.There were no reported injuries.
