Four Arrested For String Of Pharmacy Robberies: Police
Police say the four robbed at least three CVS stores, stealing thousands of dollars of medication.

Police in Nassau arrested four Queens men on Wednesday that they say were responsible for a string of larcenies from CVS stores.
According to police, the Nassau County Criminal Intelligence Rapid Response Team (CIRRT), working with the Garden City Police Department and the 5th and 3rd precincts of the NCPD, were investigating larcenies from CVS stores in the area.
Around 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, CIRRT officers saw a 2015 grey Honda Accord with four men inside stop in their lane of traffic and let the two rear passengers out across the street from a CVS on Franklin Avenue in Garden City. The car continued north on Franklin Avenue, then made a U-turn without signaling, police say. The officers pulled the car over, and police say they saw a clear bag that may have contained marijuana, as well as three black garbage bags containing Claritin, Advil, Tylenol, Aleve, Bayer Aspirin and allergy medication.

Police say that, just before the car was pulled over, the two passengers in the car had robbed the CVS on Franklin Avenue, allegedly stealing about 50 boxes of Claritin.
All four men were arrested at the scene without incident and taken to the Garden City Police Department for processing. Police say an investigation showed the men were responsible for two other larcenies: a CVS at 216 Henry Street in Hempstead, where about $1,600 in medication was stolen; and a CVS at 640 Franklin Avenue in Franklin Square, where $1,800 in medication was taken. The investigation is still ongoing.
