Garden City Firefighters Holding Annual 9/11 Ceremony
The Remembrance Ceremony will honor all those who died on Sept. 11, 2001, as well as those who have died since.
The Garden City Fire Department will be holding a ceremony on Wednesdsay to honor all of those who lost their lives on Sept. 11, 2001.
The department will hold the annual 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony at the village's 9/11 memorial, located at the Village Green and Gazebo at the corner of Hilton and Stewart avenues. The service will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 11 at 7 p.m. All are welcome to attend.
The service will honor all of the Garden City residents who died during the attack on the World Trade Center, as well as all of the first responders who died that day, and all of those who were lost to illness since.
