Garden City Resumes Summer Gazebo Concert Series

GARDEN CITY, NY — Evenings will heat up in the summer at the Gazebo on Village Green's Concert Series.

For six straight Thursdays starting on July 13, residents check out the performances that range from rock to country favorites.

In case of rain, shows will be moved indoors to Cluett Hall, on the grounds of St. Paul's School. Because of limited seating, proof of residency is required for the indoor shows. For outdoor shows, don't forget the chairs or blankets.

All concerts kick off at 7:15 p.m. The Gazebo on the Village Green is located at the corner of Stewart and Hilton avenues. You can get more information by calling the Garden City Recreation and Parks Department at 516-465-4075.

July 13: Radio Flashback — The Best of Styx, Boston, Meatloaf, Doobie Brothers, Foreigner and ELO.

July 20: Manhattan Skyline — An All-Star group brings back the best of New York vocal harmonies.

July 27: Risky Business — Old-time Rock and Roll

Aug. 3: Garth Brooks Tribute — They've Got "Friends in Low Places."

Aug. 10: Jenna Esposito — Tunes from the Great American Songbook

Aug. 17: Beyond Fab — The Best of the Beatles
