Garden City Vintage Car Event And Parade To Take Place Sunday

GARDEN CITY, NY — The annual Vintage Car Event and Parade will be held this Sunday, and certain parking fields and streets will be closed for the event.

The Garden City Police Department advises drivers and residents to make arrangements to avoid the affected areas.

Traffic in the area may be heavier than usual, and some parking lots and streets will be closed, officials said.

The event will be on Sunday, April 5, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m, and the Parade begins at 12 p.m.

Cars will start assembling at 8 a.m. in Parking Field #9E, on the east side of Franklin Avenue, between 9th and 11th Street, officials said.

The Parade starts at noon by exiting Parking Field #9E at 10th Street. The cars will travel south on Franklin Avenue, west on 7th Street, and conclude on Hilton Avenue, officials said.
