Garden City Girls Back On The Track

The Lady Trojans continue to prove that they are the team to beat year after year. And this season is no different. Regardless of the girls they lose to graduation or other sports, Coach Cuzzo finds the right formula with the talented group that turns out and produces a winning team.

This season's team will be led by a strong group of seniors and a tremendous group of underclassmen.

On the track it’s UPenn bound Taylor Hennig and St. Joe’s bound Jenna DeAngelo teaming up with sprint youngsters Emma Gallagher, Laura Jaeger and Emily Cafaro, and the long distance group of youngsters Laurel Fisher and Jen and Stephanie Gerland.

The field events are covered by jumpers Alexis Yeboah-Kodie and Mary Kate Wallace, headed to Columbia and Johns Hopkins, respectively and thrower Lauren Creighton.

So far the team is 5-0, continuing a string of undefeated dual/quad meets to more than five years.
