GC17 Goes Undefeated at Hofstra Fall Classic
The team went 3-0 against seventh/eighth grade travel teams from the tri-state area.
This past weekend the GC17 maroon team participated in the Hofstra Fall Lacrosse Classic as they kicked off the travel season.
The team went 3-0 against seventh/eighth grade travel teams from the tri-state area.
In the first game the boys played the LI Pride team and won 11-1. The team combined stingy defense with unselfish offenses to secure the win.

The second game was a 7-6 nail biter against Be The Best lacrosse club. The boys proved victorious as they scored with two minutes left to take the lead and won the ensuing faceoff to run out the clock.
In the final game the boys once again tightened up the defense and spread the ball around offensively to secure a 10-1 victory over Madlaxers from Newtown, CT.

The boys were led by Will and Tim Harder, who provided guidance on the sidelines.
