Laura Gillen announced today that she filed a complaint against Don Clavin for not disclosing his campaign's fundraising.

Gillen said she filed her complaint with the state Board of Elections against Clavin for failing to disclose his campaign's fundraising statements to the public. Gillen said her complaint requests that the Board of Elections compel Clavin to release his finances.

“My opponent wants to be Supervisor, yet can’t even file a simple disclosure form,” Gillen said in a release. “It’s suspicious that my opponent is the only candidate out of his entire ticket to not publicly disclose the sources of his campaign fundraising. Who is really funding his negative, misinformation campaign for supervisor?”

Patch reached out to Clavin's campaign for comment, but did not receive a response.

According to Gillen's financial statements, her campaign currently has a little more than $606,000 in the bank. The majority of her donations have come from private individuals, rather than businesses or other political groups.
