Going To The Coliseum? Just Uber There.

Uber has been named the official rideshare partner of the Nassau Coliseum, and will have a designated space in the parking lot.

The Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum has named Uber as its official rideshare partner. Beginning Saturday, Aug. 5 for the J. Cole performance, Uber will have a designated pick-up and drop-off area in Lot 9A near the Earle Ovington Gate at the Ford Parking Lot.

"We are proud to partner with Uber, the largest ridesharing company, to offer a better experience for our guests,"said Michael Zavodsky, executive vice president of Global Partnerships for Brooklyn Sports & Entertainment.

Using Uber to get to and from events will help ticket holders avoid the still-controversial parking fees at the Coliseum, which can be as high as $40.
