Huge Tattoo Festival Coming to Garden City This Weekend

Check out work, display your art, meet artists, get inked and more.

Coming this Friday through Sunday, tattoo, piercing and art enthusiasts of all ages can join World Famous Tattoo Ink in welcoming the United Ink Flight 816 Tattoo & Arts Festival to the Cradle of Aviation Museum, located on Charles Lindbergh Blvd in Garden City.

With tons of international artists along with live art showcases, the family friendly expo allows for adults and children of all ages to learn and become more educated about not only tattoo culture, but various forms of art and their impact worldwide! Get tattooed and experience an event like no other with Emcee Joey Tattoo of Tattoo Rescue, Tattoo Contest Host Yallzee and more!

The festival will run from 2 to 11 p.m. Friday, noon to 11 p.m. Saturday and noon to 7 p.m. Sunday. Day passes are $25, and weekend passes are $55. Kids 2 to 12 get in half price, and students can get $10 off with a valid student ID. You can purchase tickets in advance at the Cradle of Aviation box office or by clicking here.

It features more than 200 of the world’s best tattoo artists, including Jose Lopez of Lowrider Tattoo and Denis Sivak, New York Artists Darwin Enriquez and Jose Contreras, InkMasters Tyler Nolan, Halo, Aaron Is, Chris Blinston, and Ty'esha Reels, and world famous artists Sarah Miller, Joshua Carlton, Lydia Bruno, Oleg Shepelenko, Zhang Po and many more. You’ll have the chance to browse through 150 tattoo and vendor booths while meeting some of the industry's best and most prominent in tattoo culture for this incredible event. Looking for more than tattoos & piercing? Flight 816 will offer opportunities to meet and mingle with reality TV stars, internationally famous artists, tattoo collectors and models. Shop jewelry and apparel, get dolled up to enter the Miss Vixen Pin Up contest hosted by Award-Winning Pin Up Model Ms. Laura Lynn, and stop by the booths for Inked, Tattoo Society, Urban Ink, and 247 Ink to show off your tattoos for a chance to be featured in the world renowned magazines!

Completely open to the public and to all ages, it’s your chance to see artwork from local and international artists that spans over many mediums with The Artist Hanger and Fusion Project (in which much of the artwork exhibited will be for sale), along with a charity auction for much of the art created by attending artists, and kids can enjoy getting their own temporary tattoos as well as tons of kid-friendly entertainment including art seminars and full access to the museum itself!
