The Spring season at Garden City High School has begun and is showing much promise. Athlethic Director Nancy Kalafus and her excellent staff of coaches is looking forward to putting up some strong numbers in girls and boys lacrosse, baseball, softball, boys tennis, girls golf, girls badminton and track and field.
The lacrosse teams are both ranked at the top of the State rankings, the boys coming off of a 22-0 undefeated season and nationally ranked #1, while the girls will be seeking their eight consecutive State title.
The girls and boys track teams are coming off of County Championships and will look to return to that level this year with some terrific individual performers and excellent relay squads.
