Islanders Hosting Blood Drive On Thursday
The first 100 people to donate will receive a voucher for two tickets to a preseason game.
On Thursday, the New York Islanders are hosting a blood drive to help replenish blood supplies in the area.
Donated blood is perishable, so the supply needs to be replenished regularly. The Islanders are joining with the New York Blood Center to boost reserves.

The drive will be held on Thursday, Sept. 5 from 2:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Long Island Marriot, located at 101 James Doolittle Blvd. in Uniondale.
