Italy Comes To Long Island With Italia Vera At The Nassau Coliseum

Drink, dine, shop and more at this one-day event.

A taste of Italian lifestyle is coming to Nassau Coliseum in September, and tickets for the event go on sale Friday.

Italia Vera: The Ultimate Italian Lifestyle Festival will land at the Coliseum for one day only on Sept. 9, but with two sessions: one at 12:30 p.m. and one at 5:30 p.m. The event will transform the Coliseum into a slice of Italy, featuring food and wine tastings, luxury automobiles, cutting-edge Italian fashion and more.

Food and wine will come from noted brands, including Eataly, Rossopomodoro, Esca, Marcelli Formaggi and Grana Padano. Italian chefs Dave Pasternack, Cesare Casella, Billy Gallagher, and Emmy Award-winning television host Lidia Bastianich will be at the event.

Car enthusiasts will be able to check out and test drive Italian cars, as well as see some of them in virtual reality experiences. Showrooms will feature the hottest Italian home decor brands, and guests will be able to shop for the latest Italian trends at pop-up boutiques.

Tickets go on sale on Friday, April 7 at 10 a.m. You can get general admission tickets for an early-bird price of $59 until April 21, after which the price goes up to $79. Tickets for people under 21 are $9. Tickets will go on sale at the Coliseum's box office on April 8 at noon, if they are still available.

VIP tickets, which include premium parking, early access, a private lounge and bathrooms and exclusive tasting opportunities from over 50 Italian wines and beers, are $129.
