Jewelry At Macy's In Roosevelt Field Stolen; Man Sought: Police
Diamond necklaces, worth $30,000, were swiped from the display case, police said.

EAST GARDEN CITY, NY — A man stole jewelry from the Macy's in Roosevelt Field and fled, police said.
The unknown man walked into the department store just after 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday and broke the glass countertop in the jewelry department.
He reached into the display case and removed three diamond necklaces worth approximately $30,000, authorities said.
