L.I. Man Charged In Armed Robbery Spree

BREAKING: Police say he robbed three stores in Nassau within days of each other in 2016.

A Lindenhurst man was arrested on Wednesday and charged with a string of armed robberies in Nassau County that occurred last year.

According to police, Ryan Farrish, 31, of 37th Street, went into stores in Hemsptead and Valley Stream, displayed a gun and demanded cash. The robberies all occurred within a short span of time in September, 2016.

  • Sept. 22, 2016 – Metro PCS Wireless, 652 Fulton Avenue, Hempstead.
  • Sept. 30, 2016 – Metro PCS Wireless, 652 Fulton Avenue, Hempstead.
  • Sept. 30, 2016 – Metro PCS, 200 West Merrick Road, Valley Stream.

Farrish is charged with three counts of first-degree robbery, three counts of third-degree robbery and three counts of petty larceny. He was arraigned on Wednesday in First District Court in Hempstead.
