LI Duo Burgled Hotel Where They Were Staying: Nassau Police
Police say the two broke into an employee-only area and damaged hotel property.

WESTBURY, NY — A man and woman were arrested on Sunday after they robbed the Westbury hotel where they were staying, Nassau County police said.
According to police, the manager of the Red Roof Inn, located at 699 Dibblee Drive, told police that two people were caught on video opening a partition to the reception desk and entering an employee-only section. They damaged a hotel computer, police said, and then left the area.
After an investigation, police arrested Edwin Rivera, 37, of Levittown, and Jennifer Gill, 28, of Islip Terrace. Police say the two were still staying at the hotel.

They are both charged with third-degree burglary and fourth-degree criminal mischief. They are scheduled to be arraigned today in First District Court in Hempstead.
