Hear about the innermost hopes & hates of our beloved pets during this one-hour radio style performance with music & sound effects. It will feature classics from Thurber’s Pet Department & Eliot’s Practical Cats, glimpses of Mehitabel, an occasional absurdity from Ogden Nash, & outrageous snatches from such recent tomes as Cat-echisms, How to Raise a Jewish Dog, Zombie Cat, A Dog’s Head, & I Could Pee On This and other Poems by Cats – with “The Waltzing Cat” & other Anderson classic pops for background, plus occasional yaps & whines from the offended.
David Houston has appeared in leading roles in scores of plays & musicals. He is a published & produced writer of fiction & non-fiction. His original plays have been seen in L.I. theaters, schools & libraries.
Debbie Starker has experienced every aspect of production: director, performer, & stage manager. In 2005, she was honored for “Outstanding Contribution to the L.I. Theater Community” & was featured in Newsday.
