Long Island Man Killed In NYC Shooting
The NYPD says 24-year-old Jabeon Bivins was shot in the head in killed in front of a housing project in Far Rockaway.
FAR ROCKAWAY, NY — A Hempstead man was shot to death in Queens on Monday, the New York City Police Department said.
According to the NYPD, around 6:20 p.m. Monday, two men opened fire in front of a housing development at 12-50 Redfern Ave. in Far Rockaway. They hit 24-year-old Jabeon Bivins in the head. He was pronounced dead at the scene by a paramedic.
Police released video of the shooting, which showed two men — one in a gray hoodie and shorts and another in a red hoodie and pants — opening fire and fleeing from the scene.
