Man Broke Into, Stole Cars In Garden City: Nassau Police
Police say the man has been breaking into cars in the village since March.
GARDEN CITY, NY — A New Hyde Park man was arrested yesterday and charged with stealing and breaking into cars in Garden City.
According to police, video surveillance helped detectives identify Michael Daddario, 32, of Beech Street, as the man responsible for a string of thefts in Garden City. Police say that Daddario stole cash and credit cards from multiple cars. He also stole a 2002 Toyota Camry on March 19 and a 2006 Honda Odyssey on May 1, police said.
Daddario was arrested without incident.

He is charged with three counts of fourth-degree grand larceny, three counts of petty larceny, third-degree grand larceny, fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property and second-degree identity theft. He is scheduled to be arraigned later today.
