Man Came Home To Burglars Leaving His Home, Fight Ensued: Police
Police say one person was injured trying to stop the burglars, who managed to get away.

A Garden City South homeowner returned home early Friday to find his home being burglarized, police said.
According to police, a 27-year-old returned to his home on Nassau Boulevard with three friends just before 4:30 a.m. One of the friends went to the back of the home and saw a man standing near a window while another man was climbing out into the back yard.
Police say a fight ensued, and the friend was injured. During the fight, the homeowner said he saw one of the men lift his shirt and show what was believed to be a handgun in his waistband. Both men fled on foot, and then police believe they got into a car and drove away.

Both men were were 25-35 years old and wearing dark clothes.
The injured friend was taken to a hospital for treatment of his injuries. Police say the two men stole clothing from the home.
