Man Critically Injured After South Hempstead Robbery: PD
Police say they found the man with head injuries on Saturday.
SOUTH HEMPSTEAD, NY — A man is in critical condition after officers responding to a reported robbery found him with head injuries in South Hempstead, police said.
Nassau County police said officers responded near the intersection of May Street and Grand Avenue for reports of a robbery at 5:27 a.m. on Saturday.
When officers arrived, they found the man who was robbed with head injuries, police told Patch.

According to police, the man was taken to a local hospital, where he is listed in critical condition, and the investigation is ongoing.
