UNIONDALE, NY — A man was seriously hurt after being hit by a van in Uniondale Monday evening. According to Nassau County police, a 35-year-old man was crossing Uniondale Avenue near Summer Avenue at 6:15 p.m. when he was hit by a 2002 Ford Econoline van.The man suffered multiple injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital. The driver of the van, a 33-year-old man, remained at the scene. Police performed a brake and safety check on the van. Police say the investigation is ongoing.

UNIONDALE, NY — A man was seriously hurt after being hit by a van in Uniondale Monday evening.
