Police ID Man Gunned Down On Nassau Street
Police say the man was found with a gunshot early Sunday morning. Anyone with information is asked to come forward.
UPDATE, JULY 30: Police have identified the man who was killed as Paul Larue, 36, of Hempstead.
ORIGINAL STORY: A man was shot to death in Hempstead early Sunday, and police are seeking the public's help to find his killer.
According to police, a man was brought into a hospital with a gunshot wound at 2:30 a.m. on Sunday. He was found near the intersection of Fulton Avenue and Clinton Street in Hempstead. He was later pronounced dead by doctors.

Police have not yet identified the man.
Detectives are continuing the investigation. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
