Man Shot While Crossing Nassau Street
Police are looking for the shooter, who fired twice at the man.

A man in Hempstead was shot while walking from his car Saturday night, and police are searching for the man who pulled the trigger.
According to police, a 19-year-old man got out of his car after parking in front of 10 James L L Burrell Blvd. at 11:48 p.m. He started walking across the street when someone fired two shots from a handgun, one of which struck the man in the left thigh. The man was taken to a local hospital where he was treated for his injury and released.
The shooter was a man wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt. No further description is available.
