Masseur Inappropriately Touched Female Client: Garden City Police

Police say the woman went for a neck and shoulder massage when she was assaulted by the masseur.

GARDEN CITY, NY — An unlicensed masseur was arrested in Garden City on Wednesday after police say he inappropriately touched a woman during a massage.

According to Garden City police, a 48-year-old woman went to Ospa, at 927 Franklin Ave., for a neck and shoulder massage on Jan. 2. While lying in the massage room, police say the man giving the massage — Sut-ho Leung, 59, of Country Village Lane, New Hyde Park — inappropriately touched her.

The woman left the massage parlor and later called police. Leung was arrested on Jan. 5. Police say an investigation found that he did not have a license to give massages.

Leung is charged with forcible touching, third-degree sexual abuse, unauthorized practice of a profession and third-degree assault. He is scheduled to e arraigned on Thursday.

Police ask anyone who thinks they may have been a victim of Leung to call the Garden City Police at 516-465-4150.
