Men's Soccer Ranked Fourth In NE-10 Preseason Coaches' Poll

Garden City, N.Y. – Earlier this afternoon, the Northeast-10 released the Men's Soccer Preseason Coaches' Poll as voted on by the league's coaches. The Panthers, in their inaugural season as a member of the NE-10 in the sport, checked in at fourth while Southern New Hampshire topped the charts at #1.
 
The Penmen are the reigning NE-10 Champions and are currently ranked #7 nationally in the NSCAA Pre-Season Poll and are trailed by Franklin Pierce and Merrimack. The Panthers received one first place vote and sit behind the Warriors by just four votes.
 
 Southern Connecticut State, Bentley, Le Moyne, American International, New Haven and St. Michael's round out the top-10. Saint Anselm, Stonehill, Assumption and Saint Rose cap the 14-team list.
 
The Panthers kick off the first game of a slate of 16 competition dates on Thursday, September 5 with a non-conference contest against the Molloy College Lions of the East Coast Conference at 7pm.
