Men's Tennis Blanked by NYIT in Season Opener, 9-0

Garden City, N.Y. – The Adelphi University men's tennis team dropped a 9-0 decision to the Bears of the New York Institute of Technology to open their season on Sunday, September 15. With the loss, the Panthers open their season 0-1.

The Panthers were forced to play the match down one player as Richard Ferguson was forced out of the match due to a family emergency. In the five singles matches that took the court, the Panthers played the Bears to close score lines, but Uladzislau Litvinchuk was the only Panther to win a set.
