Motorcyclist Killed In Garden City Crash Identified: Police

GARDEN CITY, NY — A female motorcyclist, who died in a crash last week, has been identified.

Mariah Giabiconi, 32, of Hempstead, was killed on Friday in Garden City, police said.

She was traveling on Franklin Avenue when her Suzuki motorcycle collided with a Ford van.

The 69-year-old male driver of the van remained at the scene and was injured, police said. The two passengers in the van, a 57-year-old woman and an 87-year-old woman, were hospitalized with minor injuries, authorities said.

Police are investigating.
