Multiple Shots Fired At Group Walking In Nassau

Police say three men opened fire on a group of people walking in Nassau over the weekend, but no one was injured.

UNIONDALE, NY — Nassau County police are seeking the public's help to find people who fired multiple shots at a group walking in Uniondale on Sunday night.

According to police, multiple shots were fired at a group of people who were walking at the intersection of Planders Aenue and Nostrand Avenue just before 9 p.m. on July 12.

Police say three men armed with handguns shot at the group, but missed. The victims fled the scene, and the shooters fled north on Nostrand Avenue on foot.

Police say the investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS, or call the First Squad at 516-573-6153. All callers will remain anonymous, and you could receive a cash reward if your information leads to an arrest.
