Nassau Coliseum Fair Fireworks Show Saturday
Celebrate the Fourth of July with more than 100 rides, games and attractions.

Celebrate the nation's independence with a fireworks show at the Nassau Coliseum Fair Saturday.
The fair, the largest event of its kind in the New York metropolitan area, is going on in the Nassau Coliseum parking lot in Uniondale this weekend and next, July 9-11. Gates open at 5 p.m. Fridays and 3 p.m. all other days and closed at midnight.
Enjoy more than 100 family fun rides, games and attractions and The Animals that Built America Show, which includes draft horses, mighty oxen, Texas longhorns, a donkey, a buffalo, cowboys and cowgirls, and the littlest and biggest horses, working together.

Youngsters can enjoy the free petting zoo with chickens of the breed that came to America on the Mayflower. Watch stations will give fair attendees the opportunity to see the Animals that Built the Civilizations of the World. These animals include the watusi of Africa; brahma bull of India; llama of South America, the swamp buffalo of Asia and more.
Admission to the Nassau Coliseum Fair is $8 and parking is free, (except when other Nassau Coliseum events are taking place).
