Nassau Police Boosts Patrols At Roosevelt Field Amid Crime Spike
Thousands of dollars worth of purses were stolen from the Louis Vuitton shop on Friday, police say.

GARDEN CITY, NY — With a rash of crimes at the Roosevelt Field shopping mall in the past two months, Nassau County police are stepping up patrols.
Most recently, three women said a man stole seven purses from the Louis Vuitton on Friday, News 12 reported.
Along with police increasing the number of officers in and around the mall, "The department also has a robust security detail of police officers and supervisors that are permanently assigned to the mall," Nassau County Police said, according to News 12.

They continue to remind shoppers to always be aware of their surroundings and alert 911 to any suspicious activity.
