Nassau Police Make Second Arrest In Teen's Shooting
Police say he and another man shot a 16-year-old who was standing on the street.

Nassau County police arrested a Hempstead man on Monday and charged him with the shooting death of a 16-year-old boy that occurred in 2016.
Police arrested Edar Ventura, 2o, of Jerusalem Avenue, and charged him in connection with the murder of Alexon Moya, a teen from Uniondale. According to police, Moya was shot in the head on Dec. 13, 2016 at 11:27 p.m. while he was standing on Fenimore Avenue in Uniondale. He died from his injuries three days later.
In January, police arrested 17-year-old Jeustin David Maldonado in connection with the murder as well.

Ventura is charged with second-degree murder. He is scheduled to be arraigned in First District Court in Hempstead on Tuesday.
