Nassau Police Seeking Public's Help To Catch Christmas Murderer
A 35-year-old father was shot to death while walking to pick up his daughter on Christmas.

Nassau County police are still searching for the man who murdered 35-year-old Rafael Cepeda in Hempstead on Christmas.
According to police, Cepeda was in front of 100 Terrace Ave. in Hempstead at 6:19 p.m. when he was shot. He was found after the police's Shot Spotter system was activated. Cepeda was taken to a nearby hospital and later died of his injuries.
According to Newsday, Cepeda's girlfriend, 22-year-old Imani Mazyck, said Cepeda was on his way to pick up his 11-year-old daughter from the train station when he was killed.
