The Garden City Community Church will be the location for this year's Organ Expo, scheduled for Sunday, March 3rd at 4 p.m. in the Sanctuary. The theme is "Fingers, Feet, Food and Fun!" It will be a free presentation for all residents about the pipe organ, for children and adults.
The Expo includes a demonstration and explanation of the various sounds a pipe organ can make, musical game with prizes, individual hands-on exploration of the pipe organ, pizza and other refreshments and information about local organ scholarships and lessons.
The Expo is sponsored by the Nassau and Suffolk Chapters of the American Guild of Organists and the Rockville Centre Chapter of the National Association of Pastoral Musicians.
